The first Flikk Jam is on, and the theme is Halloween. Make a spooky game on Flikk, post it in our creator Discord by Wednesday, November 4 at 11:59 PM ET, and the community picks the three best. First place gets 1,000 Flikk Tokens.
You don't need code, a team or a finished masterpiece. One sentence is enough to start, and every spooky game is welcome.
What's a game jam?
A game jam is a short challenge: everyone gets the same theme and the same deadline, makes a game, and then everyone plays each other's entries. It's the most fun way to try an idea you've been sitting on, because the deadline makes you actually build it.
On Flikk, you don't need an engine or a team for it. You describe your game, Flikk builds it in about 15 minutes, and you can keep improving it with Make Edits until the deadline.

That's 1,750 Tokens in total. They go to the Flikk username in your entry, so you can spend them on your next games and edits.
The rules
- Theme: Halloween. Ghosts, pumpkins, witches, haunted houses: anything spooky counts.
- New games only: your game must be published on Flikk on or after October 29.
- Up to 2 games per person.
- Keep improving: you can edit your game until submissions close.
- It doesn't have to be perfect. Small, silly or still a work in progress is totally fine.
- Entries only in #flikk-jam. Questions and chat go in #lounge.
How to enter
- Make a Halloween game. Open the Create tab and describe your idea in a sentence or two. Need an idea? We wrote 10 Halloween game ideas with prompts you can copy.
- Join the creator Discord. In Flikk, go to your Profile, then Your Games, and tap Link Discord on the "Join the Flikk creator Discord" card. The whole server unlocks automatically. Here's everything inside it.
- Post your entry in #flikk-jam. One message per game, with:
- Game name
- Link to your game (tap Share on your game page, then Share another way)
- Your Flikk username
- A short description (optional)

How voting works
Once voting opens, go through the entries in #flikk-jam and react with a ⭐ to every game you like. You can star as many as you want, just not your own: self-stars get removed. Stars added before voting opens don't count.
The three games with the most stars win. If there's a tie, the Flikk team decides.
So even if you don't enter, you have a say. Play the entries and give your favorites a star.
Tips for a good jam game
- Start small. One clear thing the player does (tap the ghost, catch the candy, sort the potions) beats five half-finished ideas.
- Lean into the theme. Name your game and its pieces in a spooky way. "A witch sorts glowing potions before the cauldron boils over" says Halloween right away.
