The 10 best new games made on Flikk in October, plus the 10 most-played games of the month. All free, tap and play.

In this article
More than 2,000 new games came out on Flikk in October, each one made by someone who described an idea and turned it into a game. These are the ten that players loved most. The biggest, Stickman Warrior Auto, came out in the middle of the month and still became one of the five most-played games on all of Flikk.
After the new games, you'll find the ten most-played games of the month overall. That list counts only plays during October, so older favorites like Topple Tour compete on what they did this month.
Quick note: Flikk is our app. The rankings come straight from Flikk's play counts.
The 10 best new games of October
All ten were made and published on Flikk during October. Puzzle games lead, but three role-playing games made it too. One creator, @mrionx26, made three of the ten, and @butchbeata and @pikachu have two each. To everyone who made one of these: thank you. Players clearly loved what you built.
1. Stickman Warrior Auto
An auto-scrolling fighter: your stickman runs through the stages on their own and takes on wave after wave of enemies. Every enemy you defeat drops in-game gold, and you spend it on better weapons, costumes and skills to make your fighter stronger.

The levels are fast, and there's always a new item or skill to save up for, which makes it really hard to put down. With 2,500 stages to clear, you won't run out soon either.
Made by @mrionx26 · About 21,000 plays · 4.5 stars from 46 ratings · Role-Playing. The clear winner, and the only new game in the overall top 5.
2. Screw Pets
A relaxing screw-sorting game. Each level is a set of glowing pet shapes held together by colored screws: tap the screws to unscrew them and sort them into the matching slots at the top.

Want to give your brain a break? This is it. And if it gets too relaxing, switch on Rush mode and race the clock instead.
Made by @butchbeata · About 3,500 plays · 4.6 stars from 25 ratings · Puzzle
3. Can Pack Sort
Another calm sorting game from the same maker, this time with soda cans. Send each can to the box with its color, fill the boxes, and collect in-game coins as you clear them.

There are three modes to pick from: Conveyor, Classic and Time Attack.
Made by @butchbeata · About 3,000 plays · Puzzle
4. Paint Maze 5000
Roll your paint roller across the board until every empty tile is painted. Each level gives you a set number of moves, so you have to plan your path.

The levels get trickier and more fun as you go, and the name isn't a joke: there are 5,000 of them.
Made by @pikachu · About 2,800 plays · 4.8 stars from 13 ratings · Puzzle
5. Card Clicker
A clicker game where you tap a credit card on a card reader. Every tap brings in-game cash, and you put it into upgrades that bring in more per tap and more per second.

Save up and you can switch to fancier cards, all the way up to an engraved luxury card. Simple, and very satisfying when the numbers start flying.
Made by @flycool5 · About 2,100 plays · 4.5 stars from 17 ratings · Casual
6. Blade Tap Hero
A clicker with a twist: you tap to hit the enemies, and every stage sends a new wave at you, from bats to goblins to skeletons. Use the gold they drop to level up your hero and hire helpers like an archer, a wizard and a knight.

Once you've hired enough helpers, you can let them fight on their own. But it's more fun to keep tapping and watch each enemy go down.
Made by @mrionx26 · About 2,000 plays · 4.8 stars from 10 ratings · Role-Playing
7. Gym Ring Brawl
Train your wrestler in the gym, then fight your way up the ranks. The bench, pull-up bar and squat rack each build a different stat, and your wrestler needs rest when their stamina runs low.

The fun is in deciding when you're ready. We played it safe and trained several rounds before every fight. You can also take a risk and fight before your wrestler is fully prepared.
Made by @mrionx26 · About 1,700 plays · 4.8 stars from 16 ratings · Role-Playing
8. Merge Castle Defense
A relaxed defense game. Spend in-game coins to spawn defenders on your castle wall, then merge two of the same kind to upgrade them into a stronger one.

Made by @pikachu · About 1,600 plays · 4.5 stars from 12 ratings · Strategy
9. Blossom Tile Match
A relaxing flower tile-matching game. Like in mahjong, some tiles are stacked on top of each other. Tap tiles to move them to the tray at the bottom, and every three of a kind pop.

The trick is the order: if the tray fills up before you make a match, the level is over.
Made by @maria · About 1,600 plays · Puzzle
10. Triple Tile Match
Another relaxing tile matcher, this one with stars, gems and shapes. Tiles are stacked here too, so watch the order you put them on the tray, or you might fail the level.

Made by @lupitamm12 · About 1,600 plays · 4.8 stars from 19 ratings · Puzzle

How we picked: The new games list only includes games published on Flikk during October, ranked by their plays. For the most-played list, we took every game's play count from Flikk's catalogue at the start of October and again right after the month ended. "New plays" is the difference, so a game that has been around for months only gets credit for what it did this month. Our counts are a few days off from the exact calendar month, so we rounded them. Places 8 to 10 on the most-played list were very close.
The 10 most-played games in October
1. Topple Tour
Aim your cannon and fire at the stacks of cans, crates and barrels on a seaside pier. Knock everything off the table to beat the level, but you only have a limited number of balls.

Made by the Flikk team · About 53,000 new plays in October · 4.5 stars from 1,100 ratings · Arcade
2. Arrow Outbreak
A tangle of colorful arrows, and each one wants out. Tap them in the right order so they can fly off the screen. Tap the wrong one and the level starts over.

Made by the Flikk team · About 36,000 new plays in October · 4.5 stars from 1,627 ratings · Puzzle. It's the most-played game on Flikk overall.
3. Tile Nook
A cozy tile-matching game with sets of fruit and little critters. Move tiles to the tray and match three of the same to clear them. Pick them in the right order so the tray doesn't fill up.

Made by the Flikk team · About 32,000 new plays in October · 4.3 stars from 735 ratings
4. Ink Arrows
Like Arrow Outbreak, you tap arrows in the right order so they slide out without hitting another one. The difference: here a blocked arrow costs you one of three lives, and after the third you try the level again.

Made by the Flikk team · About 29,000 new plays in October · 4.6 stars from 512 ratings · Puzzle
5. Stickman Warrior Auto
October's best new game (see above). It came out mid-month, so all of its about 21,000 plays happened in October.
6. Flow Fill Multi
Like a wire circuit puzzle: draw lines from each starting point and fill the whole board without leaving an empty cell. The twist is that there are several colors, and you can fill the board however you like.

As long as every cell is filled, you win, so there's more than one way to solve each level.
Made by the Flikk team · About 8,800 new plays in October · 4.7 stars from 27 ratings · Puzzle
7. Inkline
Draw a line so the ball rolls into the box, and watch out for the obstacles on the way. Sometimes you have to think outside the box to get it into the box.

You only have so much ink, so the cleanest line wins.
Made by the Flikk team · About 7,500 new plays in October · 4.6 stars from 209 ratings · Puzzle
8. Rush Hour Jam
Tap a bus to send it to the stop, where it picks up the passengers in its color. There are only three parking spots, though.

If you tap without thinking, the spots fill up with buses nobody is waiting for, and the level is over.
Made by the Flikk team · About 4,000 new plays in October · 4.6 stars from 323 ratings · Casual
9. Elixir Sort
Pour the mixed elixirs from tube to tube until every tube holds just one color.

Think about the order before you pour, or you might get stuck.
Made by the Flikk team · About 3,800 new plays in October · 4.6 stars from 235 ratings · Puzzle
10. Color Maze
Roll the ball through the maze, and it paints every tile it passes. Paint them all to clear the level.

Watch where you roll: one wrong move can leave tiles you can't reach anymore, and you'll have to undo your way out.
Made by the Flikk team · About 3,700 new plays in October · 4.4 stars from 337 ratings · Puzzle
What October tells us
Puzzle games own Flikk: six of the ten most-played games are puzzles, and so are five of the ten best new ones. Arrow games are their own little genre here, with Arrow Outbreak and Ink Arrows both in the top 4.
New games can still break through. Stickman Warrior Auto went from zero to the overall top 5 in about three weeks, ahead of games that have been around since summer.
All of these games are free in Flikk. Tap and play.
